Incandescent
Simple, low cost, instant to light and quite often in an aesthetically pleasing design making them an ideal choice for lighting our homes and other places where a warm white easily controlled light is the main priority. Unfortunately although these lamps are relatively cheap to buy they do have a major drawback of being terribly inefficient. The light source that was once the workhorse in the home is fast becoming a relic of the past.
